But how do you keep all those wonderful darlings organized? It is no secret that many fashionistas keep their footwear in boxes with a photo taped to the end so that they know which pair of stilettos lives where. shelf 2If you decide to buy plywood, make sure that it is thick enough (at least one-half inch or thicker) to be able to hold your stuff without bowing or collapsing. Plywood should be “finish grade” (good-quality wood that is ready for a simple coat of paint or stain) and won’t look as if you picked it up out of your neighbor’s trash or off the street on garbage night.
